American rapper Lil Poppa, considered one of the emerging voices in the hip-hop scene, has passed away at the age of 25.
Lil Poppa died on February 18, 2026, though the cause of death has not been disclosed.
The rapper signed with Collective Music Group (CMG), founded by Yo Gotti, in 2022, marking a major step in his rising career.
In August 2025, Lil Poppa released his album “Almost Normal Again”, featuring 16 tracks, and recently dropped the single “Out of Town Bae”. He was also scheduled to perform in a concert in New Orleans in March 2026.

At the time of his death, Lil Poppa was preparing for a series of U.S. tours to promote his latest album. Known for his gritty lyrics and authentic storytelling about street life, he gained a loyal following with hits such as “Eternal Living,” “Love & War,” “To the Point,” and “Happy Tears.”
